It's not known whether Invicta founder Raphael Picard has similar thoughts in 1837, but nowadays, the company with its roots in the famous watch town of La Chaux-de-Fonds belongs to the American Invicta Watch Group, and all Invicta watch models are renowned for quality, as well as their favourable prices which allow them to be enjoyed by anyone. After the recession caused by the quartz crisis, in 1991 the company entered a new stage of its existence, they have been producing attractive wristwatches characterised by high aesthetic added value, easily identifiable design and massive construction. It's their construction that sets them apart from the competition. The Invicta brand offers popular diving models that have the capability to withstand water pressure up to 1000M/100ATM, provocative image watches with massive cases, as well as models for suits or ladies pieces with cut-crystal inlays. Limited editions and, more recently, "collaborations" with phenomena such as Marvel, DC Comics and Disney are very much sought after. The consumer has a choice between quartz or mechanical movements with a classic three-hand design, or with additional date and chronograph functions. The speciality with regard to the Invicta watch is Flame fusion glass, which combines the toughness of the mineral base and the hardness of the sapphire cover.
