Detailed description

Case material: titanium

Titanium does not contain additives such as nickel and lead and therefore is mostly suitable for allergy sufferers. Causes no adverse reaction with the skin. It is hard, color stable and very lightweight.

Movement: solar power (Touch solar)

Touch technology is solar power technology of Tissot watches. Watch battery is recharged by solar energy.

Alarm

Part of the watch is an alarm clock that can be set at different times. When activated, the alarm sounds.

Barometer (260/1100 hPa)

A special sensor measures the air pressure, measured values are shown on the display of the watch. The measuring range is 260/1100 hPa. The display unit is 1hPa. The display shows the graph of atmospheric pressure. The chart changes are recorded automatically at regular intervals. According to the changes in the graph one can easily determine changes in weather.

Timer

The watch substracts from the pre-set time to zero time. The watch beeps after zero time is reached.

T-Touch Touchscreen

The unique technology of watchs Tissot T-Touch. Functions as a stopwatch, compass, altimeter is simply operated by touching sapphire crystal. The crystal has an additional anti-reflective treatment, which eliminates glare.

Dual time

Besides the main watch time, you can display a second time. Ideal for people who have friends in another time zone and want to find out what is the time in their zone.

EL backlight

EL panel illuminates the dial and thus ensures easier readability. The illumination is activated by a touch of a button.

Battery level indicator

This feature is mostly found in solar-powered watches. It shows the battery charge status. If the indicator indicates a low level, just expose the watch to light and battery will recharge.

Yacht timer

When you start the yacht timer, the watch beeps after each minute had elapsed. During the last 10 seconds, the watch beeps every second. This function popular for yachting but it can be used also for other sports, such as running. The settings range from 1 to 10 minutes.

Compass

Built-in compass displays the North and other cardinal points. The display additionally shows angle towards the goal from 0 to 359 degrees. Resolution / accuracy of compass is 1 degree. The compass is one of highly recommended features for all adventurers, and hiking and outdoor lovers.

Full auto-calendar

The display shows the current date. It is pre-programmed, so there is no need to set short and long month and leap years. Most watches have this pre-programmed date until 2099th.

Stopwatch

Stopwatch enables to measure time intervals.

Altimeter

Barometric sensor records the atmospheric pressure from whitch an altitude is calculated. The altimeter can measure elevation of up to 10.000 meters above sea level.

Water resistance: 100M/10ATM

Watches marked with water tightness 100M/10ATM are designed for swimming and snorkeling and free diving without breathing apparatus. 100M/10ATM indicates the degree of water resistance standardized by ISO 6425. ISO tests include temperature changes, depth, pressure (water and air) for different times under the rest and during manipulation with the operative part of the watch.

Crystal: sapphire

Sapphire glass in the watch was made in a laboratory by melting aluminium oxide (Al2O3) in the presence of hydrogen and oxygen at 2000 °C. After crystallisation into the corundum 'pear', it's cut and further processed into the desired shape and size. Sapphire glass is the hardest glass used in watches. It would be second behind diamond on the scale of mineral hardness, so it can only scratched by diamond. Its only disadvantage is its fragility.
